Privacy Policy

Dealify is a push-notification service that watches Discord channels you choose for keyword matches and sends you a notification when one fires. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and how to remove your data.

Who runs Dealify

Dealify is built and operated independently by the team behind dealifyapp.cc. We are not affiliated with Discord Inc., Amazon, or any retailer whose links appear in matched messages.

What we collect

Discord account information

When you sign in with Discord we receive (and store) the following from Discord's OAuth API:

• Your Discord user ID, username, and avatar URL
• The list of Discord servers you belong to AND your role IDs in those servers — used to gate access to Dealify (you must be in one of our partnered servers with the configured access role)
• OAuth access + refresh tokens, used solely to re-validate your server membership and roles

We do not see your email address or any messages you send on Discord. We never read your private DMs or post on your behalf.

Subscriptions and preferences

When you use Dealify, we store:

• Which Discord channels you've subscribed to
• Keywords you've configured per channel
• Per-channel preferences (quiet hours, important/silent level, hidden/muted state)
• The history of notifications we've sent you (retained for up to 7 days)

Device tokens for notifications

To send push notifications we store:

• An Apple Push Notification (APNs) device token, issued by Apple to your device
• A Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token, used as the transport layer for sending the push

These tokens identify your specific device for notification delivery. They cannot be used to track you outside of Dealify.

What we do not collect

• Your real name, address, or phone number
• Email address
• Payment information (Dealify is free)
• Location data, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or biometric data
• Browsing activity outside of Dealify

How we use it

• Deliver notifications. When a Discord message matches one of your keyword rules, our bot triggers a push to your device(s) via FCM/APNs.
• Verify access. We periodically re-check your Discord server membership + role with the OAuth token to make sure you still qualify for the app.
• Operate the service. We log error and performance data on our server (no personal content) to keep the app running.

How we share data

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with advertisers. The only third parties that receive data are:

• Discord — when you log in (standard OAuth flow). See Discord's privacy policy.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification Service — the message payload (channel name, body preview) is handed to Google/Apple to deliver to your device. See Firebase's privacy policy.
• Railway / our hosting provider — runs the servers that store this data.

Data retention

• Notification history — purged after 7 days.
• Subscriptions and keywords — kept until you remove them or delete your account.
• OAuth tokens — kept until they expire or you delete your account.
• Device tokens — removed automatically when Apple/Google notify us a device is unregistered (uninstall, log-out, etc.).

Your rights

You can at any time:

• View what we have — the app's Notifications, Channels, and Settings tabs show all data we hold about you.
• Delete individual records — unsubscribe from a channel, clear a keyword, or wipe your notification history from the in-app menu.
• Delete your account entirely — email the address below and we'll remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Revoke Discord access — you can also revoke Dealify's permissions at any time from your Discord settings → Authorized Apps. This severs login + access checks immediately.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. OAuth tokens and session cookies are stored encrypted at rest. Server access is gated by industry-standard credentials. We do not store payment information of any kind.

Children

Dealify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Dealify after a change constitutes acceptance.
